So with that I've been trying to get the hang of these comment trackers for a while and haven't seem to have a lot of luck with them. I tried CoComment a few times and just don't get the hang of how to set it up properly. I seem to be tracking threads of conversations that I never recall participating in previously.
After doing a brief search I came across a posting from Andreas Gohr and his blog splitbrain.org. His posting on Tracking Your Blog Comments recommend looking at co.mments.com. So I've given it a try.
I really like it. I have found it easy to use to capture my comments (I only have 2 currently, but gave it a couple of tests). My only issue is getting the html code that they provide for their widget into my blog. I can not seem to get it to work. So I have resorted to placing a link to my public comment tracking page. It actually might turn out to be a better idea instead of cluttering up the side of my blog with another tool.
